Shoesday: Future So Bright I Have to Buy Shoes!

While out shopping this weekend Tiffany and I weren't in the mood for spring shoes just yet as it is only January and we are on the hunt to add to our winter shoes. I need a good brown pump and I am currently failing to find one. 
The new shoes coming out in stores now indicate our shoe futures look BRIGHT!

During the course of 2011, bold colors were every where including on our feet:

From what we can tell spotting shoes around town, colors have gone from bold to bright. I am so excited to see bright colors back in shoes!

Back in the day, I owned a pair of bright turquoise stilettos which I absolutely loved and wore into non-existence. I bought them at the Wild Pair when I was a mere 16 years old. They were my first pair of 5 inch heels. I am glad to see I may find a replacement for them this year. 

In Charlotte Russe over the weekend Tiffany tried on some of their new inventory and was really impressed. At $36 a pair, they are an inexpensive way to buy a trendy shoe. We tend to buy less expensive trendy shoes and spend more on those that we expect to be around a while. 

Tiffany is thinking of getting both the green and the orange pair. As a redhead, orange is a difficult color for her to wear. It can only happen below the waist she tells me! So a pair of orange shoes would definitely enable her to wear Pantone's color of 2012 - Tangerine Tango.

Another trend that is really WOWing me> colorful snakeskin. This is a shoe post, but I have to mention the pretty BCBG envelope clutches in Colored Python.

I saw these awesome shoes in Epic today as I was walking through the mall. I didn't have time to try them on today, but I will be going back. If they're comfortable, I am going to have a tough time deciding which color to buy.
