Shoesday: Photo Shoe Shopping at DSW

Sunday, Fashion Sister Tiffany and I headed out to our local DSW to see what was in store for Spring Shoes. We are very pleasantly surprised with the selection we found. 

We were greeted by this bright pink slingback peep toe from Guess upon entering the store. Instantly, we knew it was going to be a good Shoesday. I fell immediately in love with this shoe. I have been coveting some pink shoes for a while now. I haven't purchased it yet, but it is on my wish list for sure. 

Monday Mashup: VA Wine & Food Expo

No gardening for me this weekend! Chris and I had tickets to the VA Wine & Food Expo so that took up my Saturday. We had a really good time but we both agreed that there should have been more food to go with all the lovely wines we sampled.

The Virginia Wine & Food Expo is a collection of vineyards from all across Virginia. Only Virginia vineyards  are included. There were over 70 different wineries participating this year in the 5th annual expo. 

Gardening: Know What You Sow

This weekend I was finally able to get back into the garden, at least on Saturday. So I managed to get one day of digging done. To catch you up, here is where I left off on my project. 

 The last couple of weekends have either been too cold or too wet for gardening. I was glad for a nice day on Saturday to continue my digging and discovery.

I'm working on a Public Relations thing at work and I was having a James Bond kind of day. Here is what I wore:

I have owned this duster jacket for over 10 years and now I have no clue where I bought it.

I left out the bowtie and I had to have red shoes. Go figure.
